The trip on Sunday the 18th feb was a great day out with some very bright but cold weather.
The day did not start well as the mini bus with the tow bar had been taken by another person who shall remain nameless. Cheers. Any how we got it sorted and as result headed of to Paisley Canal St to start the trip,we took the NCR 75 to Johnston and then on the Irvine route to Lochwinnock, Castle Semple Loch. Although the route was fairly flat some people were paying for a winter break from cycling. With a few grumbles we arrived at the castle Semple visitor centre with welcome comfort facilities, hot drinks and snacks . The weather held all day and the return journey was just as good. OOR Wullie took some photo's which we will post when he sends them on.
The next planned On Yer Bike trip is to Aberfoyle and a Breaval loop variation, Sunday 18th March . Graded Moderate, Skill level Easy to Moderate, aprox 24 miles.
