The party of women who were undertaking this walk completed it on Monday. Unfortunately one of them hurt her ankle and had to pull out with just 6 miles to go.
The comments on the trail were all very positive and they were all very pleased to have had the experience of walking through Rural Perthshire and Angus.
The trail is a tadpole shape Starting in Blairgowrie on to Bridge of Balgy, Kirkmicheal, the Spittal of Glenshee, Glenisla, Alyth and return to Blairgowrie.
These girls have now walked a number of the longer distance trails in Scotland and are looking for a different sort of challenge and requested a bike and hike route to be planned for them next year. Well done girls.
