A group of 5 people, 2 of whom were from sunny California, were transported with their bikes, 2 of which were hired locally, up to Glen Oglehead on Thursday. They set of in good weather for leisurely cycle returning to Callander. This a popular bike ride as it fallows the National Cycle Route all the way on a well made track. It is also easy to drop of the trail into Lochearnhead (shop), Balquhidder Station, Kingshouse, Rob Roys Grave, Strathyre (shop) and the Lade Inn for refreshments or just a visit on the way.
There are good number of similar or more challenging alternatives in this area contact us for more information.
